Brief History and Background

Shariatpur Govt. Technical School & College is a government technical educational institute Controlled by The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) which works under the control of the Ministry of Education(Technical and Madrasha Education Division), Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. It offers three courses- JSC(Vocational), SSC (Vocational), and HSC (Vocational) course.

SSC(Vocational) course has four trades, these are 1. General Electrical Works, 2. General Electronics, 3. Computer and Information Technology and 4. Fish Culture and Breeding. HSC (Vocational) course has four trades, these are 1. Computer Operation and Maintenance, 2. Electrical Works and Maintenance, 3. Electronic Control and Communication, 4. Fish Culture and Breeding.
